As I said, we used to sing together every evening. And Ilse sang the second voice - to every song. Of her own accord. She knew exactly how to and we always sang together. It was always very nice. And then - I haven't told you about this yet: When we got to Holland with the transport we were sent to a camp. A camp where we were examined to see if we were healthy and so on. And.. often it was quite funny - They always said: "the Brüll cousins." And we always had to sing something - Ilse wearing lederhosen and me a dirndl. There was a large hall and - I guess - a few hundred people. And we always performed there. And one of them said: "Now the two children, the Shirley Temples, are coming." I remember that. It was a movie for children. She had a lot of curls - "Shirley Temple" and "Traudl Stark." Those were children's movies, I remember that. Then we always performed. And also if there was a celebration at the convent the "Brüll cousins" would always sing. - Now this Brüll can't sing anymore. Maybe it will come back. Yes, I always get hoarse. That's all. But please continue asking about what interests you.
